Sunday Funday Fundraiser for Youth Baseball |

It is never too early to begin thinking about Baseball (or simply continue to think about baseball for some of us). We wanted to let everyone know we are having our next Sunday Funday Fundraiser on Sunday, December 18. The event is once again located at our local Legion Post 567 (Liberty Restaurant) from 3:00-5:00pm. It is a great fundraiser that is being hosted by our Youth Baseball Association. It will include a meat raffle and an opportunity to socialize with each other. This is a great way to support our local Legion Post! We only host one of these each year and the last one we hosted turned out to be one of the best Sunday Funday events they had last year - so hopefully we can pack the Legion again! Hope you are able to come out and show your support. |
Uniforms 2023 |

Uniform fitting sessions will be scheduled soon. This will include 3 dates to come and try on the 2023 uniforms. These will be scheduled for after Presidents Day, but before March 1. Once we have the confirmed dates we will send a message and post on our website. |
Travel Parents - Rostering and 2023 Expectations |

We are currently working through last minute changes to rosters and adding them to our website. You will see those changes reflected on the website or in your Sportsengine app over the coming days. Once the rosters are complete and everyone is rostered in SportsEngine you will receive an email with specific travel player expectations for the Dome, Dome costs, Travel Parent Meeting schedule, Volunteering, etc. |

If you haven't registered for the 2023 season please note the changes to deadlines. Ages 9 and up have a deadline of February 1st. Younger ages have a deadline of March 1st to complete registration. |
Director of House League
We would like to congratulate and welcome Alison Gobar to the STMA Youth Baseball Board. Alison will fill the open Director of House League position working with Ron Wetzel, VP of House League. Alison will begin a 3 year term in December with responsibilities including the development of House League teams, schedules, and field assignments. She will work closely with House League coordinators and other Board members to ensure a positive and fun baseball environment for all our players in these leagues. Previously, Alison was our Coordinator of Communications in 2021/2022 and had two players in Rookies and a player in Minors during the fall of 2022.

Dome Memberships 2023
The STMA Dome will be opening for Youth Baseball hours starting after the first of January 2023. Memberships are available for House League players and High School Players. There will be no volunteer hour requirements for parents this winter. Registration will open around the first of December.
Travel team players that are rostered on a 9 – 14 year old travel team in 2023 do NOT need to register. A Dome membership is already included in travel invoice costs that will be billed in March.
Dome usage is for individual development only. There will be no team practices allowed; optional or mandatory. We respect the other sports that are currently in their season and expect that all multi-sport athletes attend all activities for current season sports. More information will be sent to Travel coaches at the beginning of December which outlines expectations for the winter season.

Uniform Try On Dates
Due to the changes in our evaluation process we no longer offer uniform try on during the evaluation day. Starting in 2023 we will host a minimum three (3) uniform try on dates for all players from 4 years old to 14 to come and try on a 2023 uniform. We expect to offer two unique weekday evenings and one weekend option during the months of January and February. Dates and times are currently in the works and more information will be posted once it becomes available.
